Every project runs the same way, whether it is a quoting system, an AI workflow or the IT underneath them. Here is the whole process, so you know what you are buying before the first call.
The four steps
Discovery
Discovery is its own paid phase with its own deliverable: the workflows mapped, the requirements written down, the screens sketched. You can take that document to any developer, including me.
Fixed price
A number before anything gets built, paid in milestones. The price moves only if the scope does, and a scope change is a conversation, never a surprise on the invoice.
Milestones
Working software at each one, with the tests that prove it works. Not a demo at the end, not a status report, and nothing you have to take on faith.
Support
After launch, support runs under the same contract. Email security, backups and hosting can sit under the same contract if you want them there.
How the work scales
Since November 2025 I build with a team of AI coding agents. Four at once is a normal day. That is how the work scales to what used to need a development team, at a fixed price, scoped before anything gets built.
Every feature goes through the same pipeline: discovery, failing tests first, implementation, refactor, commit. Triage stays with me. The agents do the typing; I decide what gets built, in what order, and what is finished.
What I don't do
A marketing website. The boutiques in town do that well.
A procurement-driven RFP. I work directly with the owner or the operator.
Software carrying heavy healthcare or banking compliance. I am not taking that on yet.

In 30 minutes I will look at the systems your operations run on and tell you plainly what I would build first and what I would leave alone. No contract.
